How does this “Click, Clack, Moo” Toilet Paper Roll Craft Teach Perseverance?

Read the book, “Click, Clack, Moo – Cows that type with your kids and ask the following questions:

  • Which characters in this book demonstrate perseverance?
  • How do the character demonstrate perseverance?
  • What were the results of the perseverance demonstrated?

Kids will quickly note that the perseverance of the animals resulted in getting what they wanted. If the cows hadn’t been determined then they would have continued to be cold out in the barn rather than receiving the heating blankets they desired.

After familiarizing everyone with the book and conversing about the topic, begin the craft. Combining literature, art and character building promotes greater depth of learning.
